ESA ESW Flat Flame Burners

People might be familiar with Pyronics’ SW, but ESA has made some updates and the result is the ESW. ESA’s ESW series are flat flame nozzle-mix gas burners.

High velocity combustion air flow produces a vortex inside the refractory block where it mixes with gas, producing more efficient combustion. The special shape of the block and the force generated by the air coming into contact with gas allows the flame to hug the refractory wall.

ESW flat flame burners are suitable for applications in which axial flame transference is not desired or optimal. Any load inserted in front of the burner is preserved, and there is no flame impingement. These burners create a very high heat exchange between the furnace and the product due to flame turbulence and radial movement.

Characteristics

• Available in 300K to 4.75MM Btu/hr capacities

• Turn down = 1:8

• Preheated air up to: 840°F

• Max. working temperature = 2,550°F

Applications

ESW flat flame burners are ideal for applications that require high heat, direct fire, and no flame impingement. Some common applications include:

• Annealing furnaces

• Melting basins in reverb

• Aluminum melting and holding furnaces

• Zinc melting furnaces

• Bell furnaces

• Pit furnaces

• Billet heating furnaces
