Medium Velocity Burners
Burners with "medium" exit velocities often use an alloy combustor with a wide exit diameter. Medium velocity is preferred for some applications, such as ceramic treatment, textile and dry cleaning, and many types of dryers. It's not unusual to see a medium velocity burner used in conjunction with a refractory block in order to achieve higher velocities and different flame shapes.
