Allow us to introduce Delta Elektrogas, an Italian manufacturer of combustion safety equipment, and a new favorite brand at Combustion 911!

Elektrogas valves have been popular in Europe for a number of years. Now that they are FM approved, it’s time to bring them to the USA. Designed for high cycle operation and boasting heavy duty cast valve bodies, the VMR, VML, and VMM are the cost-effective alternative to the competition, available with an impressive array of options.

VMR..OTN is a compact, brass-bodied valve, comparable to Kromschröder’s VGP. Though Kromschröder no longer offers the VGP in US (NPT) thread, the VMR..OTN is FM approved and available in 1/4", 3/8”, and 1/2” NPT, and in a variety of voltages.

VMR (fast open/fast close) and VML (slow open/fast close) are available in 3 PSI, 5 PSI, 7 PSI, and 90 PSI versions, sizes ranging from 3/8” to 6” (3” for VML), and in a variety of voltages. IP65 is available as an option, as are models for use with aggressive gases. Visual indication is available via the introduction of an accessory which is shipped and sold separately. Proof of closure models offer visual indication via a two-tone LED DIN plug.

VMM is a double valve available in 3 PSI or 7 PSI versions, sizes ranging from 3/4" to 3”, and a variety of voltages. Choose two fast-opening valves or one fast and one slow. Add a bypass valve in 1/2" or 1” size. IP65 is available as an option, as are models for use with aggressive gases. Visual indication is available via the introduction of an accessory which is shipped and sold separately. Proof of closure models offer a POC switch on one valve, with visual indication handled via a two-tone LED DIN plug.

VRA, VLA, and VTA solenoid valves for air allow for reliable high/off or high/low operation in pulse-fire systems. Similar to Kromschröder’s VR valve, the Elektrogas version is available in fast open/fast close (VRA), slow open/fast close (VLA), and slow open/slow close (VTA) models, in 120V and with NPT and ANSI connections.

SR, SL, and ST solenoid actuators for butterfly valves are a great way to affect high/low operation of air butterfly valves in pulse fire systems. The SR is fast opening/fast closing, the SL is slow opening/fast closing, and the ST is slow opening/slow closing. Two sizes are available; size 4 is suitable for smaller butterfly valves, while size 8 can drive all Elektrogas butterfly models. When used with butterfly valve VFH, no separate attachment kit is necessary as the required parts come with the actuator. Compare to Kromschröder’s MB7.

MZ servomotors are available to drive Elektrogas butterfly valves in a wide variety of systems. We list and stock the MZ5, which offers variable timing; 24 V AC/DC, 110-230 V AC; 0-10V, 0-20mA, and 4-20mA input; 0-10V, 0-20mA, and 4-20mA feedback; and easy, push-button setup with no software or expensive programming cable required.

VF butterfly valves are available from Elektrogas in sizes from 1-1/2” through 6”, and may be used with air and gas up to 140°F. Reduced port versions are available, as are special high temperature versions (up to 392°) for use with air only. Drive these valves using the SR, SL, and ST solenoid actuators, or with the MZ servomotor. A manual handle is also available. Compare to Kromschröder’s BVG and BVA.

VFT threaded butterfly valves are available from Elektrogas in sizes from 3/4"-2” NPT, and may be used with air and gas up to 140°F. Reduced port versions are available, as are special high temperature versions (up to 392°) for use with air only. Drive these valves using the SR, SL, and ST solenoid actuators, or with the MZ servomotor. A manual handle is also available. For convenient installation on smaller pipe sizes.

VFH butterfly valves are available from Elektrogas in sizes from 1-1/2” through 8”, for use with heated air and flue gases in temperatures up to 482°F. Optional heat shields may be used to increase the maximum temperature to 842°F. VFH may be used with SR, SL, and ST solenoid actuators, or with the MZ servomotor. A manual handle is also available. Compare to Kromschröder’s BVHM.

VMRNA is a normally open vent valve in sizes ¾” and 1” NPT. These valves use the same body as the VMR, and many of the same options are available. Compare to Kromschröder’s VAN.

LMV linear flow control valves are shown on Combustion 911 with the standard coupling for mounting the MZ servomotor, though other couplings are available. This item is available in sizes ¾” to 2-1/2” NPT, and in 2-1/2, 3” ANSI, and with an optional 1x reduced gas orifice. Compare to Kromschröder’s LFC (discontinued) and VFC.

RAG ratio regulators maintain a constant air-gas ratio and are now available in 1” NPT, with more sizes coming soon. An adjustable bypass is standard. Compare to Kromschröder’s GIK and GIK..B.

FG gas filters are available in sizes from 1/2"-4" to protect downstream componenets from particulate 30 µm or larger. Finer filtration is also available. Compare to Kromschroder's GFK

We’ll be adding more great Elektrogas products soon. Keep checking back for more!
