Description

Santin’s MXS package burner offers extremely high thermal turndown (40:1), comparable to Maxon’s Ovenpak (40:1), which means you can achieve very low capacities compared to the rated maximum. The documentation explains the integration of a bypass/pilot into this burner’s design, which helps make the low turndown possible. The pilot is used for ignition but can later be switched off (managing min. and max. using only an MZ actuator) or kept on as a low-low-fire flame.

Like the Ovenpak, the MXS has an integrated butterfly valve which can be supplied with a kit comprised of an Elektrogas LMV (linear control valve) and either MZ3 (for 3-point control) or MZ5 (for continuous control via analog signal). The LMV supplied has a special lever arm for creating a linkage that allows the MZ actuator to control the LMV and the integrated butterfly valve at the same time—allowing it to be as compact as the Ovenpak.

We can offer MXS on it’s own without a blower or manifold, or as a complete package, with everything you need to run including blower, manifold, and flame safety. Or anything in between with a combination of optional features, like the LMV, MZ, and linkage, or with high-temperature refractory combustor.
