ISO maintenance is further challenged by the inclusion of design as part of our quality management system (QMS). Having design as part of our QMS helps us stand out and gives our customers the assurance of a reviewed process behind the engineering of their automation and combustion systems.
As a boutique engineering firm, keeping up with ISO can be daunting. One of our implementation secrets is the complete digitization of our QMS. Our master is digital, and a hyperlinked “matrix” makes all procedures, documents, and forms accessible with a click. This streamlining of our process has added the benefit of helping us avoid printing. Reduced paper use and waste brings us closer to achieving our next challenge, ISO 14001 compliance.
