They have two regulating screws for minimum and maximum flowrate adjustment and come with valve disc position indicator.

S series actuators can be used in pulse-fire operations requiring a large number of on/off cycles of valves in the system. Its sturdy and functional design allows a fast and easy installation, and is practically free of maintenance.

There are two sizes of S actuators available; Sx4 which is lighter and used for smaller valves, and the Sx8 can be used with any size Elektrogas valve, but its most commonly used with larger sizes.

The coil, which includes the PC board and enclosure, can be replaced. We also offer the PC board alone, or the cover alone, or the DIN plug.

Fixing Set Point

The Elektrogas S actuator uses a different method for fixing the set point, compared to the competition. If you’ve shied away from solenoid actuators due to frustration with lock nuts that won’t hold their position and set screws that easily strip, you’ll be happy to find these issues aren’t applicable for Elektrogas.

There is a set screw on the bottom of the actuator (fig. 29) that, after removal, allows access to an inner screw that can set the low-fire (fig. 30). Similarly, the top of the unit has a screw (fig. 33) which is used to set the high-fire. (fig. 34) Once the inner screws have been set, simply tighten the set screws back up and you’re finished fixing the set point.

Low Fire Adjustment

High Fire Adjustment

S Accessories

The Set S option is used for mounting SR/SL/ST to VF butterfly valve.

Set ST is used for mounting SR/SL/ST to VFT butterfly valve.

Set D is a pair of heat shields for installation on VFH enabling it to see temperatures up to 840°F

Butterfly Valves

VF, VFT, and VFH butterfly valves are made for regulation and control of gas flow and air flow in combustion processes.

Elektrogas butterfly valves are made of aluminum (VF/VFT) or cast-iron (VFH).
