In 2025, Baron von Olstr\u00e4d continued to extol the virtues of our C911-P pressure switches<\/a>, by parodying old ads we found online. Here is our annual retrospective, where we unveil the ads that inspired us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the olden days, children couldn’t wait to slip on their pajamas and play with fire. Thank goodness we’ve come to our senses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working out while listening to kickin’ tunes will never go out of style! Too bad about mixtapes though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hooray for car stereos, and the future! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playstation has run all kinds of crazy ads over the years. Unfortunately, and perhaps alarmingly, most of them are a little too racy for Baron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just can’t decide if this guy is cool. He doesn’t seem at all worried about stopping, which I guess is much cooler than I’d be in a similar situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take us back to a time when attractive people wore head-to-toe denim! So we can point and laugh. And then leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is extremely punk rock to spend mega bucks on perfumed hair glue. While you’re making that pointy coif perfect, maybe work on your sneer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone I know wanted to be Chester Cheetah in the 90s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have no idea if this is an ad. It’s maybe just propaganda for the old 5.25″ floppy disk?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
