Several of our team members had started to work outdoors, but we only had one table with an umbrella, making it difficult for multiple people to work outside in the shade. So, we decided to install a sun shade on our patio, so more people could comfortably work outside if they prefer!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.combustion911.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1144_smaller.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.combustion911.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1144_smaller.jpg\" alt=\"Using the sun shade\" class=\"wp-image-1110\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Research shows people are healthier, happier, and more productive when they have access to sunlight. Not only is the sun shade a great way to work outside without the effects of direct sunlight, it also helps cut the glare on screens. The shade blocks direct light while still allowing plenty of daylight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our patio has wifi and access to outlets. We plan on adding additional electrical outlets on several posts, so that more can keep their devices charged and running. Some people even bring their own fans to keep cool. Theoretically, less people in the office means there&#8217;s less requirement for air conditioning. This also helps decrease our overall carbon emission!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.combustion911.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sun_Shade_Collage.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.combustion911.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sun_Shade_Collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1111\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Our team has been working on installing the sun shade in some pretty extreme heat.
