Flame Safety and Burner Controls

IFD 258 Burner control unit for use in multi burner systems and single burner systems.

BCU Series Burner Control Units

BCU 370 The BCU (burner control unit) 370 controls, ignites, and monitors industrial forced air burners of unlimited capacity in intermittent or continuous operation.
BCU 460 The BCU (burner control unit) 460 is for directly ignited burners of unlimited capacity (air valve control optional). The unit ignites and monitors gas burners for intermittent or continuous operation.
BCU 465 The BCU (burner control unit) 465 enhances the features of BCU 460 by adding Proof of Closure switch monitoring and purge timing. It is for directly ignited burners of unlimited capacity (air valve control optional).
BCU 480 The BCU (burner control unit) 480 controls, ignites, and monitors gas burners for intermittent or continuous operation. Its fully electronic design reacts quickly to various process requirements and is therefore suitable for frequent cycling operation.

PF-19 Burner Control Systems

PFU 780 Designed specifically for pilot and main burners of unlimited capacity in intermittent operation or in continuous operation.
PFU 760 Designed specifically for directly ignited burners of unlimited capacity in intermittent operation or in continuous operation.

Industrial Gas Valves

Butterfly Valves

BVG The butterfly valve BVG is designed to adjust volumes of gas, cold and hot air, and flue gas on various appliances and flue gas lines. The BVG is a butterfly valve with reduced nominal diameter (reduced by one or two nominal sizes) and can be used to achieve higher control accuracy. This will mean that complex reducing fittings will no longer be required.
BVH The butterfly valve BVH is designed to adjust volumes of gas, cold and hot air, and flue gas on various appliances and flue gas lines. The butterfly valve BVH is used for processes that require very precise adjustment of the flow rate or low leakage. In conjunction with the stop bar, the valve disc ensures very low leakage rates.
BVHM The butterfly valve BVHM is well suited to intermittent operation due to the large number of operating cycles in conjunction with the solenoid actuator MB 7.
BVHS The butterfly valve BVHS with safety closing function is used with the actuator IC 40 in systems where it is important that in the event of a main voltage failure, the valve closes preventing air streaming into the furnace without being under control.

Control Valves

RV Control Valve RV is used for controlling the flow rate in modulating-controlled combustion processes that require a large control ratio. It is suitable for use in an electronic or mechanical air/gas ratio control system.
RVS Control Valve RVS is used for controlling the flow rate in modulating-controlled combustion processes that require a large control ratio. It is suitable for use in an electronic or mechanical air/gas ratio control system. The RVS also integrates a solenoid valve so that the gas is safeguarded and controlled without additional pressure loss.

Solenoid Valves

VAS Solenoid Valve VAS is designed for safeguarding and controlling the air and gas supply to gas burners and gas appliances.
VCS Double Solenoid Valve VCS is designed for safeguarding and controlling the air and gas supply to gas burners and gas appliances.
VAG Gas/Air ratio control with solenoid valve VAG maintains a constant air/gas pressure ratio for modulating-controlled burners or with VAS 1 bypass valve for stage-controlled burners.
VAD The gas regulator with solenoid valve VAD with high control accuracy, is for excess air burners, atmospheric burners, or single-stage forced air burners. Pressure preset via setpoint spring.
VR VR solenoid air valves are for on/off or high/low control of air flow for combustion systems. Their continuous duty capability makes them especially well suited to withstand the continuous cycling of frequency firing combustion control systems.
VGP VGP solenoid valves are normally closed solenoid-operated valves for on/off control of natural gas, LP, clean biogas, and air flow. They are widely used as gas safety shut-off valves for industrial and commercial combustion systems.
GVRH The GVRH solenoid valve is for precise control of the pressure and safe shut-off of the gas and air supply to gas burners and gas appliances. It is for use in gas control and safety lines in all sectors of industrial and commercial gasfired heat generation.

Ball Valves

Vent Valves

VAN The VAN vent valve is for venting the area between the main shut-off valve and the block valve in the main gas train.

Safety Relief Valves

VSBV The VSBV reduces temporary pressure surges caused by fluctuations in system operation downstream from the pressure reducing regulator. It is required for use with the Regulator JSAV Overpressure Shut-off Valve.

Pressure Switches

DG Diaphragm pressure switches with micro switch for monitoring gas pressures on industrial installations, for gas and air, also suitable for biologically produced methane, with hand wheel for adjusting the switch-on point. FM and UL approved.
DG..C The DG..C pressure switch monitors the increasing or decreasing positive pressure of natural gas, town gas, LPG, flue gas, biologically produced methane, and air, for example, on a gas control line. FM and UL approved.
DL DL air pressure switches provide accurate, reliable supervision of air pressure for both industrial and commercial combustion systems, boilers, HVAC systems, and a wide variety of other applications.

Burners, Pilot Burners, and Burner Tubes

Burners

BIC The ZIC burners use a lightweight tube manufactured from a high quality SiC silicon carbide. The silicon carbide tube is well-suited for installations using ceramic fiber insulation and brick linings.
BIO The BIO burner is designed for industrial furnaces and firing systems in the iron and steel industries in the precious, non-ferrous, and light metal sector, as well as in the plastics, fiber, and paper industries.

Pilot Burners

ZAI The ionization pilot burner ZAI is for the safe ignition and flame protection of atmospheric burners in conjunction with automatic burner controls IFS and the PF-19 Burner Control System.
ZKIH The ionization pilot burner ZKIH is designed for the safe ignition and ionization control of gas burners in conjunction with the automatic burner controls IFS or Burner Controls PFU.
ZMI The ionization pilot burner ZMI is designed for the automatic ignition and control of gas burners, in conjunction with the automatic burner controls IFS or Burner Controls PFU and the ignition transformer TZI or ignition transformer TGI.

Burner Tubes

TSC The burner can be used in conjunction with the ceramic tube set TSC in furnaces with brick lining or ceramic fiber lining. No burner quarl is required to serve as a combustion chamber.

Regulators

Gas/Air Ratio Regulators

GIK GIK regulators hold constant gas/air ratios on nozzle mix and premix burner systems. They are designed and built with precise internal tolerances, and they provide highly accurate, repeatable pressure tracking over the turndown range of the burner system.
GIKH GIKH regulators allow precise, repeatable control of gas/air ratios on preheated air combustion systems where air density is affected by temperature changes.

Gas Pressure Regulators

GDJ GDJ regulators are general-purpose regulators for controlling gas pressure to furnace ovens and other gas-consuming appliances. They are suitable for natural, LP, and clean dry bio-gas at inlet pressures up to 5 psig (350 mbar).
VGBF VGBF regulators are general-purpose regulators for controlling gas pressure to furnaces, ovens, and other gas consuming equipment. They are suitable for natural, LP, and clean biogas at inlet pressures up to 60 psig (4 bar).
JSAV Use the JSAV regulator to protect against high pressure for valves downstream from a gas regulator.

Actuators

IC 20 The actuator IC 20 is designed for applications that require precise, controlled rotary movement between 0° and 90°. They can be mounted directly onto butterfly valve BVG or butterfly valve BVH to control gas and air flow rates on gas burners. They are designed for control ratios up to 1:10.
IC 40 The actuator IC 40 is designed for applications that require precise, controlled rotary movement between 0° and 90°. They can be mounted directly onto butterfly valve BVG or butterfly valve BVH to control gas and air flow rates on gas burners. They are designed for control ratios up to 1:10.
MB 7 The solenoid actuator MB 7 serves as a drive for butterfly valve BVHM and can be used for staged control of industrial installations in cold- or hot-air operating modes.

Ignition and Monitoring Components

Ignition Transformers

TGI The TGI Ignition Transformer is designed for high-voltage spark ignition of gas burners and gas-ignited or directly ignited oil burners. Die-cast aluminum housing meets the requirements for enclosure IP 65.
TZI The TZI Ignition Transformer is designed for high-voltage spark ignition of gas burners and gas-ignited or directly ignited oil burners. Enclosure fulfills the requirements for enclosure IP 20.

UV Detectors

UVS The UVS UV detector monitors gas burners of unlimited capacity with or without fan, on hot-air furnaces, gas-fired boilers, industrial furnaces and excess-gas flaring installations in conjunction with Elster Kromschroder PFU, IFS or BCU automatic burner controls.

Orifice Assemblies

VMO Orifice assembly VMO for valVario Valves (replaces FLS models).
FLS The orifice assembly FLS provides accurate metering of gas flow to industrial gas burners.

Accessories

E BOOTS Straight electrode adapters and plug caps.
DE The Flow Meter DE is designed to measure volume and instantaneous flow of natural gas, propane, inert gases, and air. The DE style meter has an LCD display that shows the current volume, the current flow, and date.
DM Fitted with a mechanical counter head, the Flow Meter DM is designed to measure the volume of natural gas, propane, inert gases, and air.
GFK Gas Filter GFK is used to filter fule gas, nitrogen, and combustion air.
TPS Pressure Gauge The TPS Low Pressure Gauge accurately measures extreme low pressure conditions.
TC 1-3 The tightness control TC checks the fail-safe function of both valves before each start-up or after each shut-down of a system with two safety valves.
TC 410 The tightness control TC checks the fail-safe function of both valves before each start-up or after each shut-down of a system with two safety valves. The TC 410 mounts inside a control cabinet, separately from the valve system.
LFC The linear flow control LFC adjusts volumes of gas and cold air on various systems.
